Little Jazz Giants will open up the pre-Jam in Carneys Main Room Sunday. This group are composed of Camden Public School Instrumental Music Students ranging from ages 11 to 16 directed by Will Wright. They focus on exploring the history of jazz through performing the music of great jazz legends such as John Coltrane, Horace Silver, Sonny Rollins, Charlie Parker, Benny Golson, Miles Davis and others. With Dhalil Sadiz trumpet, Kwan Wilson trombone, Ben Sutin violin, Austin Marlow drums and Immanuel Wilkins sax, these young lions keep their audiences captivated by their command of jazz music. |
