Jordan Isaiah Williams Trio plus Manny Jiminez will open up the Sunday Pre-Jam in Carneys Other Room 12noon. Jordan Williams and Jordan McBride are both 14 years old and amazing talents. Jordan Williams began studying music at the age of 7 at the Phila Clef Club. He was featured as a Kid Star of Topmorrow at the Apollo Theatre in NY, is a member of the Kimmel Center Youth Jazz Ensemble, featured in an episode of ABC's Fast Forward and performed live on the NBC 10 Show. A straight A honors student, he has been invited to attend the National Young Leader's Conference in DC for the top ranking 4th - 7th grade students.
Bassist Jordan McBride is from Bucks County and has participated in the Kimmel Center Jazz Program and the NJ Performing Arts Center Jazz for Teens Program. He plays in the Settlement Music School Advanced Orchestra and several area jazz groups.
Drummer Anthony Benson, Jr., is a graduate of Camden's Creative Arts High School, During his junior year he won numerous individual and sectional awards and was part of the school's first Finals Championships and was part of the band that played at the Berklee College of Music's High School Jazz Festival in Boston MA where they placed first with Big Band and third with small group. He is now attending William Paterson University majoring in Jazz Performance. |
